MWRC Holdings Limited (MWRCH) wishes to identify a suitable party to be the main contractor to construct a three level building, predominately comprising office space, with some retail space on the ground floor, at 17-23 Victoria Avenue Palmerston North. The development has an approximate total gross floor area of 5,400m2.
The proposed Building has been designed to Importance Level Four (IL4) which will enable the building to operate as an emergency operation centre in the event of a natural disaster. This is required to ensure the building remains operational to cope with significant earthquake movements based on a 1 in 500-year event.
The anchor tenant, will occupy much of the office space on the ground floor and all of level one. The ground floor is also expected to be occupied by a café and a retail tenancy fronting Victoria Avenue. It is planned that level two may house an Emergency Operations Centre.
The EOI will be the first step in a multi-step procurement process. Following EOI evaluation shortlisted Respondent/s will be invited to submit a full proposal in response to a Request for Proposals.
CONDITIONS FOR RECEIVING THE EOI
MWRCH invites parties interested in responding to the EOI to complete the Conflict of Interest Declaration (the Declaration) and short form Confidentiality Deed attached to this Advance Notice.
In order to receive a copy of the EOI, interested parties must have completed the attached Declaration and Confidentiality Deed and returned them to email@example.com by 18 Dec 2017. The EOI is due for Submission on the 22 Dec 2017. Do not use a tender submission functionality within GETS to submit the Declaration and Deed.
MWRCH will review completed Declarations and Confidentiality Deeds as soon as practicable after they have been submitted to the MWRCH Point of Contact and, provided a supplier’s Declaration and Confidentiality Deed do not raise any concerns for MWRCH, MWRCH will release a copy to of the EOI to that supplier.
MWRCH may, in its discretion, and where it considers there is good reason to do so, decide not to provide a copy of the EOI to a supplier who has submitted a completed Declaration and Confidentiality Deed.
