Overview

Massey invites proposals for Medical Practice Management Software (PMS) and related services in accordance with the attached RFP and the specifications set out in Schedule 2.

Massey University is an integrated university operating across three major campuses as well as supporting sites, and extramurally by distance education. Its multi-campus organisation is supported by national shared systems and services. This ‘one university’ culture is a key feature of the University and provides an extraordinary breadth of access to teaching and research activities and cooperative exchange across disciplines and geographic locations.

Campuses in Auckland at Albany, Palmerston North (Manawatu) and Wellington have approximately 18,000 local and international students. In addition, in excess of 17,000 students study extramurally. Through Massey’s five-college structure a diversity of degrees, diplomas and certificates are offered.
Massey has Student Medical and Counselling services at the three main campuses.

From a patient and practice management perspective they are three (3) separate medical practices which report to different Public Health Organisation’s (PHO’s).
Currently these Medical Practices run different PMS. Massey has a desire to move all three centres over to the same PMS although the medical practices will continue to operate as three (3) separate entities.

The due date for proposals is 26th Feb 2016. Proposals are to be received electronically via GETS. All questions pertaining to this RFP are also to be loaded via the GETS website.
