This contract is for the surveillance, maintenance, supply and installation, when requested, of Council’s rural and urban signs, posts and such other signs as may be deemed appropriate during the period of the contract within the Matamata-Piako District.

The contract covers a roading network of approximately 1035km of urban and rural road, with approximately 7873 signs throughout the network.

The contract period is for a 3 year period from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029 and the schedule rates tendered will apply for the full period, except when modified by the standard escalation clause. The contract may be extended by two separate consecutive 12 month periods by mutual agreement between the Principal and the Contractor.
