In partnership with Te Kāhui Hapū o Te Papa, the Ministry of Justice releases an open Registration of Interest (ROI) calling for suitably qualified, experienced, and resourced main contractor (or a consortium, with one lead main contractor) who are interested in the opportunity to be engaged by the Ministry of Justice (Ministry, or Buyer) as the preconstruction contractor (Construction Consultant) for the Tauranga Moana Courthouse Project (Project).
The Project comprises:
• the construction of the new Tauranga Courthouse (Courthouse project); and
• The refurbishment of Mclean House (Refurbishment project).
From ROI submissions, up to four Respondents will be short-listed and invited to submit a tender through a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT). The successful Respondent will be engaged by the Ministry as the ‘Construction Consultant’ under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) to provide preconstruction services in relation to both the Courthouse and Refurbishment.
