Auckland District Court, New Zealand’s busiest courthouse, has been operational for over 30 years with many of the building’s original services and equipment still in place. The escalators, which have a typical lifespan of 20-25 years, have long surpassed their end-of-life and need to be replaced at the earliest convenience. This procurement is for the supply and installation of 4 new escalators to replace the aged units at Auckland DC, so that the escalators continue to deliver safe, reliable and optimised performance to all users, with an operational life of the escalators of 20-25 years.
The key objectives of this procurement are to procure a suitably qualified and experienced installation company to carry out the Ministry’s requirements as per our agreed technical specification.
