The Whenua Māori Programme (WMP or the Programme) is strongly aligned to the Budget 2019 wellbeing priorities of lifting the incomes, skills and opportunities for Māori; and creating opportunities for productive businesses, regions, iwi and others to transition to a sustainable and low-emission economy. The Ministry of Justice (Ministry) and Te Puni Kōkiri (TPK) are lead partners.

The technology workstream will replace the ageing technologies of the Māori Land Court (MLC) with an up to date technology service that supports new business process and legislative amendments (Solution).

The objectives of this sourcing process are to:

1. Enable the modernisation of the technology system that supports the MLC to provide more efficient and effective court services with the capability to support future legislative changes and evolving customer needs;
2. procure the new Solution on an ‘as-a-Service’ basis; and
3. select a supplier that works with the Ministry to achieve the October 2020 implementation date.

The deadline for Registrations is 2pm (NZT) 13 August 2019.
