The purpose of this notice of intent is to advise that the Ministry of Justice intends to run a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Family Dispute Resolution Service (FDR). The indicative date for release is late January 2018.
The Family Dispute Resolution Service enables people to resolve their care of children issues in the best interest of the child, without involving the court. FDR is an independent mediation service which also offers preparation for mediation sessions to help people prepare for mediation. FDR services need to be delivered in accordance with the Family Dispute Resolution Act 2013.
We will require credible suppliers to deliver the service with coverage across the country.
No response to this notice is required. Full details of our requirements will be included in the RFP.
