Overview
The Ministry of Justice requires a main building contractor to supply construction services for the refurbishment of the Whangarei High and District Court in order to meet the Ministry’s standards for court security and customer service by no later than March 2018.
The Whangarei High and District Court has a dated interior fit out, an air conditioning system which requires an upgrade, cells which require an upgrade and problems with leaks and rainwater discharge from the roof. It is proposed to resolve these issues by substantially upgrading the air conditioning system, including replacement of all older components, partial roof replacement and a refurbishment of the building interior.
