The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa’s waterfront museum building on Cable Street, Wellington, has a number of exterior architectural features clad in aluminium composite panelling. The exterior aluminium composite panels and associated sealant system has degraded over time and have reached a point where they need to be progressively replaced to avoid the ingress of moisture.
