MIT’s Information and Communication Technology Services Section (ICTS) are looking to implement a new Contact Centre environment for MIT. This requirement has been brought about due to the replacement of the old Mitel PABX environment with the Microsoft Unified Communications product, Skype for Business. MIT has three different teams which utilise the current software. They are the Information Service and Application Centre, ICTS and Facilities Management. These three groups have a contact centre staffing total of 22 staff and receive between 15,000 and 16,000 calls approximately a month. MIT is looking to deliver a single contact centre environment which will enable the current 3 groups to 'act' as discreet units within the 1 environment.
