Overview

Te Aka Whai Ora is inviting Hauora Māori partners to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) / tono to deliver Preventing and Minimising Gambling harm – Clinical and Public Health Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a significant co-design of new, enhanced, and equitable Māori specific Preventing and Minimising Gambling harm – Clinical and Public Health Services in Aotearoa. Te Aka Whai Ora intends to invest approximately $1.625 million (public health funding pool available) and $3.201 million (clinical funding pool available) per annum towards new Māori specific preventing and minimising Gambling harm services nationally. These services will reflect the aspirations of whānau, hapū and iwi living in localities across Aotearoa that are fundamentally underpinned by te ao Māori approaches to preventing and minimising Gambling harm.

This is a two-stage commissioning approach reflecting the commitment of Te Aka Whai Ora to the vision of Pae Ora through the commissioning of services that best meet the needs of whānau Māori and localities in partnership with our communities
