We want an expert to identify options and recommend an approach for providing carbon market and NZ ETS information to the NZ carbon market to improve price discovery and increase market transparency.

We want recommendations on the scope, type and form of information on adequate price discovery and market transparency that, if provided, would allow participants, observers, carbon market traders, consultants and/or service providers and policymakers to:
1. understand the supply and demand fundamentals of the NZ ETS, both in the past and into the future
2. make the best possible forecasts for the (future) value of an NZU
3. understand current and historical market activity
4. factor in NZ ETS costs into their short-term and long-term decisions
