The New Zealand Government (the Crown) intends to lease a fleet of King Air aircraft for seven years, commencing September 2017. The new lease will include equipment fitted to the aircraft to increase capability and enable Air Warfare Officer training. An open and competitive tender process for the aircraft and equipment (including supply and maintenance of the fleet and all equipment) will commence in line with the timeline below.
