MDHB and Whanganui DHB (potentially) are jointly as sub regional partners issuing this RFI to test the market for potential suppliers able to provide off-the-shelf end-to-end solutions, including reconfiguration and implementation services, for managing clinical eReferrals electronically (Solution). We wish to identify vendors having in-depth healthcare knowledge and off the shelf eReferrals software for implementation across the DHBs’ and primary health care providers’ sites in the community (the DHBs’ potential sub regional partners). It is the DHBs’ intention to move towards an electronic only eReferral system for each district.

It is envisaged that the instantiation will be done to the following sites:
● MDHB Campus and approximately 39 practice sites clinical providers (Central PHO) who refer patients to MidCentral Health, with WDHB Campus and approximately 14 general practice sites (Whanganui Regional Health Network ).

Responses to this RFI will be used to inform the MDHB’s and potential sub regional partners’ business case and procurement planning for the software and service provider.
