Lincoln University (the Principal), invites tenderers to submit bids for the Main Build Contractor Works associated with the proposed alterations and additions to existing buildings at Lincoln University, located at 5084 Ellesmere Junction Road, Lincoln. This Request for Tender (RFT) aims to select a preferred contractor through a competitive tender process. A contract will be formed between the Principal and the preferred tenderer upon completion of this process, based on the contract template included in this RFT. The decision to enter into a contract with any tenderer rests solely with the Principal.

Project Overview
The scope of works generally includes the following:
• Demolition Works:
- Demolition of existing office areas and services, including asbestos removal (refer to section 1.4).
- The assessor responsible for approval of the Asbestos Removal Control Plan (ARCP), site monitoring, and clearance will be Chem Safety, engaged directly by the Principal. The Principal will cover the costs associated with this process, including air monitoring.
- The contractor must confirm who will perform the asbestos removal as part of their tender submission for Principal and assessor approval.
• Structural Strengthening:
- Strengthening works to an existing building (Building 28).
• Construction Modifications:
- Construction of new office areas, including but not limited to partition walls, fire alarm systems, and the installation of mechanical and electrical services.
• Interior Fit-Out:
- Fit-out of interior spaces to update/create new office and workshop areas.
• Option Pricing:
- Pricing for concrete repairs as detailed in the BECA concrete repair documentation.

The site is located at Lincoln University, 5084 Ellesmere Junction Road, Lincoln. Site visits can be arranged by appointment.
