NOTICE OF INTENT
Lincoln University (on behalf of the Lincoln Hub Stage 1 Buildings Project) will be commencing a procurement process to select an ECI FM Provider for Stage 1 of the Lincoln Hub development. The provision of Facilities Management (FM) Provider Services, is being progressed through an RfP on an FM Services Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) basis. The principle objective of this is to have the FM Services Provider involved early in the project development, so they can influence the specific operation and maintenance of the built asset during project design, with a view to achieving greater cost effectiveness and cost certainty in construction, as well as expediting a whole of life approach to design.
Tenderers will be required to provide proposals to the following three areas of scope:
1. ECI FM Services – Design Review
2. ECI FM Service Provision – which may lead to an intention to enter into a FM Services Contract
3. Support the role of the Principals Soft Landings Champion.
RFP RELEASE
Lincoln University will issue a Request for Proposal (RfP) for the Phase One of Lincoln Hub FM ECI Contract on or around Wednesday 25th via GETS.
We will be seeking proposals from companies and/or consortia comprising a Facilities Management Service Provider responsible for reviewing and advising on the design, mobilisation, operation and maintenance of Stage 1 of the Lincoln University Hub. (New buildings with a floor area of approximately 27,702m2).
EOI BRIEFING EVENT
Subsequent to the release of the RfP, The Client will be holding an open interactive briefing at the University. The date for this is yet to be finalised, however is likely to be:
