LPC requires coverage testing, design and installation of a cellular equipment solution to service the port growth until 2026. Further expansion will continue until approximately 2050.

To provide diversity for dual SIM devices, fault resilience, and capacity (a high level of network availability and performance, LPC would prefer to select two (2) supply partners – a primary provider and secondary provider. The providers will be selected based on their:
• Quality of strength of coverage across operation areas
• Greater control over outages and maintenance work
• Service level agreement (SLA) parameters
• Disaster recovery options
• Business continuity (fail over options)
• Current and future provisions for IoT network options ie 5G
