We are anticipating that we will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) (Ref: 2023-25) in mid-late November 2023 to procure topographic and bathymetric LiDAR capture in the vicinity of Bluff as part of a trial.
The purpose of the trial is to assess available shallow and deep-water systems to confirm how well they can achieve our requirements in challenging New Zealand environments. It will also inform a review of our specifications to ensure the data collected and survey deliverables are fit-for-purpose for subsequent mapping of approximately 85% of the New Zealand coastline.
