The property (including improvements) at 58 Zephyr Terrace, Governors Bay, Christchurch was acquired by LINZ due to the property being in the area of the high risk of the boulder roll (red zone).

The property is located up a valley in Governors Bay on a relatively large section, distant from neighbouring properties. There is an unsealed access to the main dwelling. The main dwelling is a two-storey, architectural, castle-like 1990’s poly-block (concrete cast in polystyrene formwork) structure. There are several outbuildings and rubbish heaps on the property.
