Overview

This Request for Information (RFI) does NOT seek offers - it seeks information to help inform future property asset management and related services for Land Information New Zealand’s (LINZ) portfolio of assets that includes residential properties, non-residential properties, and specialist properties.

LINZ is currently reviewing its service delivery model (set out within the diagram on Appendix B) to determine whether it is the most appropriate and optimal model to secure the required services.

We are particularly interested in your views on:

• What services should be bundled together to maximise efficiency and value for money for LINZ, and
• The approach to utilising national, regional, or local provision to service and manage the assets.

In the last financial year, our property asset management services comprised around 22,000 transactions equating to $19m (pass through costs).

LINZ is interested in ways that the Property Asset Management Service suppliers appraise the properties and assets under their management in terms of condition, tenancy requirements and regulatory requirements. We are also interested in the manner in which properties and assets are inspected, maintained, and assessed for future refurbishment.

LINZ intends to use the information gathered in this RFI process to inform and assist our service delivery model review and inform any future procurement.
