The New Zealand Hydrographic Authority (NZHA) within Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) is responsible for providing navigational safety products and services for New Zealand waters, certain areas of the South West Pacific and Antarctica. This role includes the production of official nautical charts.
LINZ will shortly be releasing a Request for Proposal seeking one or more suppliers to support the chart production function through the maintenance of hydrographic production source data, and the production and maintenance of Electronic Nautical Charts (ENCs) and Paper Chart products.
The supplier/s are required to work virtually within the LINZ Hydrographic Production Database (HPD) environment, using CARIS Source Editor, CARIS Product Editor, and CARIS Paper Chart Editor. Deliverables must comply with specific International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) and LINZ specifications, and be delivered ready for publishing.
