Overview

The Property Group Limited (TPG) on behalf of Land Information New Zealand invites contractors to tender for the surveying of Middle Hill pastoral lease for tenure review, located approximately 45km north of Kaikoura and 5km inland from Waipapa Bay.

This is a contract for the surveying of a high country station for tenure review and requires the contractor to have proven experience in this type of work in the South Island High Country including:

Experience and logistical skills with large rural cadastral surveys
Conversant with previous types of historical survey field practices, such as chain and compass surveys, that are typically encountered in researching and interpreting old survey records
Staff trained and resourced to work in sub-alpine environments
If applicable, experienced in working around helicopters particularly in sub-alpine environments
Experienced and resourced for use of 4WD vehicles and any other ATV applicable
Financial stability to withstand any contractual delays due to eg weather
Appropriate quality control protocols and procedures.
A robust Health & Safety Plan including site specific management protocol
Minimum $3 million Public Liability Insurance
Familiarity with this or similar terrain
