Pāmu Dairy Cow Mineral Tender
a. Pāmu seeks to enter into a supply arrangement with one or more Preferred Supplier/s of custom minerals and trace element products for Pāmu’s dairy farm operations which comprises of:
i. 47 Dairy Farms (28 North Island and 19 South Island). Refer to APPENDIX 1 ‘Pāmu Dairy Farms 2020’ for details.
ii. There are approximately 46,500 milking mixed aged dairy cows and approx. 20,000 heifers (1-2 years old, not all grazed by Pāmu)
b. Pāmu recognises the criticality of ensuring the best organic, non-GMO minerals for our dairy animals. We are seeking high quality organic, non-GMO ingredients that will drive profitability in our dairy operations and help keep our animals in prime condition.
c. In addition, Pāmu needs to understand how the Preferred Supplier/s will ensure our farms have product when they need it and how your company will add value to our business by working with local vets to support and upskill our dairy farm teams.
This tender has been awarded. Total spend value $ 300,000.
