Overview
A portion of Pāmu’s existing land portfolio is well-suited to various types of forestry and in
association with its diversification programme, Pāmu wishes to capture the afforestation potential
of this land, for both carbon farming and traditional rotation forestry.
In light of the numerous projects available to it, and the finite capital and personnel resources,
Pāmu wishes to explore the opportunity to partner with a suitable external party to assist in funding
and managing a portion of the future afforestation programme.
Pāmu anticipates the arrangement to involve it contributing land suitable for afforestation and the
partner group funding the forest establishment and ongoing management of the forests.
