This exemption was approved under rule 14.9.c, only one supplier, which now equates to Rule 12 Appendix 2 option 3. The exemption was approved on the basis that the business process mapping software provided by Software AG Australia Pty Limited is used to collaborate with DIA through the seamless transmission and receipt of process maps as part of the All of Govt common process model. While other process mapping solutions exist and could be utilised, none will allow the seamless transfer of process maps between IR and DIA, without additional process steps and manual intervention.
