Inland Revenue has issued this Market Scan to gather certain information from the market to inform its sourcing strategies.
Inland Revenue is looking to accommodate approximately 75 people currently displaced from their working accommodation in the Library Building, Napier. Our preference is to accommodate our staff in permanent accommodation as quickly as possible, however we understand that short term accommodation may/will also be required.
Inland Revenue is seeking general information from suppliers on the provision of short term, initially up to 24 months, commercial, fit for purpose office accommodation options (including customer facing service delivery) within the Napier and Hastings area. We are also seeking information on longer term options in Napier.
This Market Scan is being released to obtain market information only and is not a guarantee of a subsequent formal tender process.
It is intended that the information gathered through this Market Scan will be used to inform Inland Revenue’s understanding of the range and availability of potential solutions to meet the Business Requirements including:
 the range and availability of potential solutions;
 the size and nature of the market;
 options for procuring a potential solution; and
 factors to be considered when procuring a solution.
The information gathered during this Market Scan process will allow Inland Revenue to determine viable options and we may enter into negotiations with one or more parties based on the information submitted to this Market Scan.
Suppliers responding or intending to respond to this Market Scan are referred to as Participants in this Market Scan.

Colliers Hawkes Bay have been awarded the contract for IRD's short term accommodation need in Napier. IRD will not be proceeding with long term options.
