Overview

The purpose of this Expression of Interest (‘EOI’) is to invite respondents to register their interest in providing services for the Implementation of an ISO 50001 Energy Management programme for Wairarapa District Health Board, Hutt District Health Board .All DHB’s consume large amounts of utilities in the course of healthcare provision due to the 24/7 nature of many of hospital campuses. The Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast DHBs have a combined energy spend (natural gas, LPG and electricity) in excess of $7.1M per annum.
Capital and Coast DHB has progressed with the implementation of ISO 50001 and in order to ensure a consolidated approach to energy management is in place across the sub-region the Wairarapa and Hutt Valley DHBs require EECA Programme 1 audits completed to set their own frameworks in place. On completion of this procurement programme all three DHB’s will have a common energy management programme which will be supported on their behalf by the 3DHB Facilities Management Group.
Respondents to this EOI must be current EECA Programme 1 (P1) accredited partners and be able to provide references showing successful completion of P1 programmes. Provision of P1 services to healthcare facilities would be an advantage but not necessary.
