Overview

HLC has been commissioned to deliver small, medium and large-scale housing developments in Auckland over the next 10 to 15 years.

The overarching objective is to help Auckland develop as a vibrant city by delivering more quality homes more quickly. This is to be achieved by replacing not fit for purpose, ageing housing stock with new homes that make the most efficient use of HNZ’s very significant land holdings in Auckland – HNZ is the largest residential landowner in Auckland. Using its existing land will enable HNZ to increase the pace and scale of housing supply in Auckland, where the need for more houses is greatest.

HLC has chosen to procure the engineering and civil works expertise required to deliver the next 5 years of the Programme through a large scale Alliance-style engagement.
