Overview

Hutt City Council has made a strong commitment over the past five years to modernise our technology environment, including significant upgrades to our network infrastructure and core business systems.

These investments have laid the foundation for smarter, more connected ways of working across the organisation.

Hutt City Council’s IT team supports approximately 1100 staff across the organisation, with around 50 technicians and support personnel involved in service delivery, operations, and project support.

These teams require a cohesive, scalable system that enables efficient collaboration, visibility, and management across all service functions.

As part of this transformation, we are now looking to implement a modern IT Service Management (ITSM) platform that complements our upgraded environment and brings together our service processes into a single, cohesive system.

We’re excited to find a solution that not only supports our technical needs but also enhances our ability to deliver efficient, user-friendly services to staff—and, by extension, to our community.
