The Beltway Cycleway is a key project in achieving Hutt City Council's 'Walk and Cycle the Hutt 2014-19 Strategy' and will play a crucial part in developing a safe and integrated cycle network in Lower Hutt.

It will act as the future spine of Lower Hutt's active transport connections to schools, transport hubs, and businesses while providing increased access to active transport connections for the community.

This contract is for the construction of a 6.6km long cycleway running between the Waterloo Train Station and the Hutt River Trail.
