Overview
The Riverbank Market has been running for fifteen years in the Riverbank Car Park. During that period, the market has grown into a regional destination attracting up to 10,000 attendees each week, one of the largest regular events in Lower Hutt, offering fresh vegetables and fruit alongside locally produced foods, e.g. cheese, dairy products, plants and baked goods. The market also features a food court with entertainment from local buskers each week.
The emphasis should be on quality and freshness; the market should also provide a vibrant atmosphere, making it a good experience for all those that attend either randomly or every week.
