With a view to bring in cost efficiencies in common consumed items like waste collection bags, flexible packaging products and there is a scope to standardize the product range across all the District Health Boards (DHBs)
This Request for Proposal will lead to creating a panel of suppliers who would be engaged in supply of these products and will work closely with the DHBs to identify opportunities available for standardisation of products. There will be essentially a 2 step process where we will initially contract suppliers that are capable in meeting the demands of the current environment. Once the panel is formed, we will look at standardising the range of products.
As part of this role we are facilitating the process to identify a suitable supplier panel for Supply of Waste Collection Bags & Flexible Packaging through this RFP process and NZ Health Partnerships will coordinate with all the DHB’s to analyse and evaluate responses received and complete the subsequent discussions with short-listed vendor to identify the most suitable partners to panel.
