Hastings District Council advises the following key dates for procurement activities over the holiday season 2026/2027:

Last tender closing date for 2026 - Wednesday, 9 December 2026
Last date for advertising tenders in 2026 - Thursday, 10 December 2026
NB: Documents to be received by AM Business Support Team no later than 12 noon – fully approved

NB: If work is to be tendered over the Christmas period the minimum tender period needs to be extended, considering 23 Dec – 5 Jan businesses are generally closed

First date for tenders closing in January 2027 (NB: Only If advertised on or before 11 Dec) - Wednesday, 20 January 2027

NB: If advertised on 10 Dec, tenders can close on or after a Wednesday 20 Jan, being fair and reasonable. If there is a practicable reason to close prior to 20 Jan, you will need GM approval.

First date for advertising Tenders in 2027 - From Monday, 11 January 2027
