REQUEST FOR TENDER
P2025-389 Public Building Exterior Wash and Treatment Services
Hastings District Council (HDC) is calling for tenderers who can provide a programmed building exterior cleaning and chem wash service for Council public and community buildings across the Hastings District. The required service is offered on a three-year contract basis with an option to be extended for three extra years.
Tender documents are available from the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) www.gets.govt.nz. Any enquiries about this contract must be made via www.gets.govt.nz
Respondents who are unable to meet all the following pre-conditions should conclude that they will not benefit from submitting a Response.
1. SiteWise Green or above certified for the duration of contract period
2. The Contractor must be able to provide evidence of insurance to the following values:
a. Contractor arranged Plant Insurance - The contractor shall insure each item of plant on the site having a current market value of more than $50,000
b. Contractor arranged Public Liability Insurance - $2,000,000 (such public liability insurance may include sub limits: For liability under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017, of not less than $500,000) and
c. Motor Vehicle Third Party Liability Insurance - $2,000,000.
Note: Proof of insurance will be requested from the Successful Contractor at the time of Award of the contract
QUESTIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED THROUGH GETS ONLY
PROPOSALS AND RESPONSES MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH GETS - TENDERS CLOSE at 3pm Wednesday 02-July-2025 and must be submitted electronically via GETS.
Please use the Response form(s) provided.
Respondents should ensure sufficient time is allowed to upload the files to GETS prior to the tender closure date and time. GETS will close off the upload of a submission at 3pm whether completely uploaded or not.
The TOTAL submitted file size must not exceed 50MB, regardless of the number of files submitted.
Price and non-price files should be uploaded as separate files and clearly marked as File 1 Non-price (which is to contain all attribute information combined in one file), File 2 Building List & Schedule of Prices and File 3 Price Response Information
