REQUEST FOR TENDER
P2025-440 Tomoana Showgrounds – Contractor Works
Tenders are requested for the above contract which involves the refurbishment of the Golf Building and the Horse Stall toilets at Tomoana Showgrounds for the Hastings District Council.
Tender documents are available from the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) www.gets.govt.nz. Any enquiries about this contract must be made via www.gets.govt.nz.
Questions close on the 22nd May 2025 and can only be submitted via GETS. Any questions via phone or email will be asked to send their queries through to GETS.
Please use the response forms provided to complete and upload to GETS. Price and non-price files should be uploaded as separate files and clearly marked as File 2 Price and File 1 Non-price.
Tenders close at 3pm Wednesday 28 May 2025 and must be submitted electronically via GETS. Please ensure you allow enough time to fully upload your quote response prior to the closing time.
The TOTAL submitted file size must not exceed 50MB, regardless of the number of files submitted.

Provide evidence current SiteWise Green certification or higher Pass/Fail Yes
Provide evidence of a project where they have required to complete some adhoc building design during the construction phase. Pass/Fail Yes
The Contractor must be able to provide evidence of insurance to the following values:
a. Contractor arranged Professional Indemnity - The contractor shall insure they have a minimum of $100,000.00 for Professional Indemnity.
b. Contractor arranged Public Liability Insurance - $2,000,000 (such public liability insurance may include sub limits: For liability under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017, of not less than $500,000) and
c. Motor Vehicle Third Party Liability Insurance - $2,000,000. Note: Proof of insurance will be requested from the Successful Contractor at the time of Award of the contract Pass/Fail Yes
