This contract is for the upgrade of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning system, other building services and associated enabling work at 207 Lyndon Road East, Hastings and includes:
• Demolition and disposal of demolition materials
• Asbestos fibre cement sheet removal and disposal
• Removal and disposal of redundant equipment
• Removal and reinstatement of various walls and roof areas to facilitate access to mechanical plant
• Creation of a new chiller compound. Concrete pad and fencing
• Mechanical services renewal
• Building management system renewal
• Electrical services renewal
• Fire safety systems renewal and remedial work
• General carpentry and builders work
• Suspended ceiling replacement
• Joinery replacement
• Thermal insulation installation
• Waterproofing plant areas
• General painting
• General flooring
• Minor structural strengthening
• Information technology systems reconfiguration
• Commissioning and balancing of all systems
• Provision of Operation and Maintenance manual, as-built drawings, asset register and associated documentation.
Provisional items have been included in the Schedule of Prices, Items 20 to 25. The inclusion of these items in the final scope of work is solely at the discretion of Council.
