The Hastings District Council Eastbourne Street Water Pump Station will undergo an
electrical and controls upgrade over the next few years.
Stage 1 will consist of:
o Modifications to an existing 1200A Distribution and Motor Control Centre with:
Adding UPS 230Vac and 24Vdc distribution.
Adding PLC remote input/output modules
Modifying 3 existing pump control cubicles including new VSD’s
Adding Harmonic Mitigation and Power Factor Correction
Interfacing to existing power source changeover system
o A new 230Vac 15kVAhr dual redundancy UPS and distribution system.
o A new 9RU Ethernet data cabinet with 24 way termination panel, Ethernet switches and router.
o A new operators panel with both manual and Allen Bradley touchscreen controls,
instrumentation and Allen Bradley central PLC.
o Modification of controls at two remotely powered pump control kiosks.
