Overview
The District Health Boards of New Zealand have a requirement for Patient Warming Solutions, and are inviting responses from suitable Suppliers of these products.
The prevention of inadvertent perioperative hypothermia (IPH) is a critical component of perioperative care with a strong evidence base demonstrating improved patient outcomes in a number of surgical settings. Patient warming devices are an essential tool in the prevention of IPH and are used perioperatively, intra-operatively and postoperatively on a daily basis throughout the DHBs.
