Overview
The Northland District Health Board invites Tenderers to submit a tender for the Main Contractor Services for the Acute Stroke Unit at Whangarei Hospital. The work includes expansion of the current Acute Stroke Unit ward to enable the addition of beds. To create the space the currently occupied Physio gym and Occupational Therapy kitchen will be relocated to the fourth floor service wing. The works will need to be staged in such a way to enable continued care and use of rehabilitation facilities. In addition, works involve relocating admin staff from the 4th floor service wing to Maunu House. The construction period is proposed to commence on the 19th April and complete on 24th September 2021.
