Auckland, Counties, Northland and Waitemata DHBs (the Participating DHBs) have identified a need to outsource PET-Ct imaging services from time to time and have requested healthAlliance to undertake a procurement activity to identify potential Service Providers who would like to participate in a panel of approved Service Providers for this modality. The Panel Service Providers shall provide PET-CT imaging services for eligible patients of the Participating DHBs. The focus is the oncological applications of PET-CT as a requirement for optimal patient management. The objective of this Response Process is to facilitate the establishment of a Panel to deliver options for value for money solutions to the Participating DHBs, consistent with the expectations of both the Office of the Auditor-General and the DHBs’ obligations to balance ethical and sound commercial practices within a robust, transparent and fair process.
