Counties Manukau District Health Board (DHB) is seeking to engage a suitably experienced provider to complete Engineering concept design for Phase 1 development of a Radiology Hub on the DHB’s SuperClinic (outpatient and day procedure services) and Elective Surgery Centre (inpatient and outpatient services) at Manukau. A fast track concept design is required in February-March 2019 to inform Business Case completion in April 2019 requiring Crown funding approval by June 2019. Major facility developments will consider experience of care, operational efficiencies, sustainable design opportunities and cost options. The Radiology Hub feasibility design estimated a 2050m2 gross floor area over two levels with an indicative capital value of $21m. This development forms part of a longer term master site plan to expand the scope and capacity of inpatient and outpatient services and decongest the acute Middlemore site.
