Overview

The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to obtain fixed pricing for the design, and firm pricing for the associated build, test and implementation options. This needs to include a timeline for the implementation and integration services, of an on-premise integrated Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution (and associated services) that will support the delivery of healthcare services for the Northern Region in a way that meets the following strategic objective:

“An integrated, collaborative, organised, patient-centred network of primary, community and hospital based care settings that provides care as close as possible to the home and emphasises prevention (including self-care, health promotion), consumer participation and consumer autonomy.”

The outputs of this RFP process will be used to support decision making by hA as part of the Northern Region’s Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) and Long Term Investment Plan (LTIP) programmes for a solution that meets the business, technical and commercial requirements for the IAM Project.

We invite proposals from potential suppliers who meet the technical, commercial and other requirements set out in this RFP and who wish to enter into an agreement to supply an on-premise IAM solution and related services to hA on behalf of the Northern Region DHBs, noting that end users of the solution will include the following:

• Patient/consumer and families/whānau
• GPs / Nurses / Practice Nurses
• Community nurses
• Community midwives
• DHB clinicians
• Aged Care service providers
• Allied health workers
• Care coordinators
• Nurse practitioners
• Administration workers
• Whānau support workers
• NGO providers

Respondents who wish to provide a cloud based solution may do so in addition to an on-premise solution option.

PLEASE NOTE: The Supplier Briefings for this RFP will be held on the 10th October at 230pm, we request that you confirm receipt and intend to attend by 5pm Monday 6th October.
