Overview
Waitemata DHB is looking to leverage its extensive Wi-Fi infrastructure in a manner where it can be used to:
• monitor and maintain the security of infants and mothers;
• track vulnerable patients; and
• track location and allow performance optimisation of specific assets.
At the heart of this will be a Real Time Location System (RTLS). The DHB foresees the RTLS as strategic and is looking for a robust and resilient platform that will support many future initiatives.
