Cleaning Services for the Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB)

The Bay of Plenty District Health Board is based in Tauranga, New Zealand. Its Provider Arm manages two hospitals in the Bay of Plenty, namely Tauranga Hospital 320 beds and Whakatane Hospital 160 beds.

Request for Information (RFI) are invited from experienced and qualified parties for the provision of Cleaning Services to Tauranga and Whakatane Hospital Campuses.

The intention in this RFI is to evaluate the economic advantages (if any) of undertaking a full Tender process and a wide ranging evaluation process across both Campuses.

This RFI is not a tender document. At this stage it should be treated as a method only, to gather information for evaluation and consideration as part of the DHB’s improvement and redevelopment plans. It may not proceed beyond this point.

The preferred vendor will need to:

 Provide a total solution for Cleaning Services across both Campuses
 Provide coverage and support opportunities in the Region covered by the BOPDHB
 Provide a prompt, innovative, efficient, flexible service
 Provide a cost effective service

Distinctive skills we will be looking for in a vendor:

 Proven skills and expertise in similar contracts (size; national coverage)
