Overview
healthAlliance and the four Northern Region DHBs are seeking proposals from suppliers for a solution to provide critical and non-critical messaging. The priority is to replace the current paging service to ensure critical communication services are maintained when Spark shuts down its paging network at the end of June 2017. While replacing this functionality is vital in order to mitigate risk to clinical services, it is expected that solutions will deliver additional value to users from using current technology. The selected solution is intended to be a regional centralised solution that will provide both critical and non-critical messaging functionality to DHB staff.
