Overview
This RFP covers Surgical Mesh, associated Fixation Devices (e.g. tacks) and Mechanical Access Devices (e.g.spacemakers) and includes synthetic and biologic mesh..
In scope are the following product lines:
• Surgical Mesh used in hernia repair
• Surgical Mesh used in gynaecology procedures to treat pelvic organ prolapse
• Surgical Mesh used in urology procedures to treat stress urinary incontinence
• Fixation Devices (i.e. used to separately affix the mesh – excluding staples and glue)
• Mechanical Access Devices (generally used in laparoscopic procedures to create an artificial space)
