The objective of this RFI is for hA to better understand the market for Patient Tracking (Mother and Baby patient) and Security Devices, including the range and extent of products and services, existing and potential suppliers, and the impact of technological change on the market.
hA would like to understand solutions that would ideally enable DHBs to provide high levels of security and protection against baby abduction, mother/baby mismatch and wandering patients.
Ideally the solutions would be able to:
a) Monitor patient movement history and activity/inactivity
b) Accurately and continuously track infant movements and monitor infant-mother matching
c) Detect movement and notify staff when a potential dangerous situation occurs
d) Interface with existing security and patient management systems
