Greater Wellington Rail Limited (GWRL), a council-controlled organisation owned by Greater Wellington Regional Council (GW), is responsible for the cleaning and minor maintenance of 48 train stations, 34 park and ride facilities and 7 bus driver toilets throughout the Wellington Region.

Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) on behalf of GWRL, plans to release a Request for Tender (RFT) later this year, to source a single supplier, to undertake cleaning and minor maintenance services at train stations, park & ride facilities, and driver toilets.
