Overview

Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) has a microwave radio network that consists of five repeater sites located on regional park lands. This network is known as High Availability Wide Area Network (HAWAN). GWRC has an obligation to maintain, monitor and support HAWAN infrastructure and is seeking a supplier who can carry out this specialised work.

At a high level, the following work will be in scope:
• Scheduled maintenance including painting and regular structural checks carried out on structures located at four high sites.
• Scheduled technical maintenance to be carried out on all electronics including receivers/modems/NIDs and mast head radios, dishes and aerials
• Any repairs to be carried out on structures located at the high sites that are identified as part of the regular maintenance checks
• Proactive monitoring of HAWAN network devices to be established
• Break/fix repairs on HAWAN network devices as part of an established fault escalation process
• Produce and/or update any existing network documentation.
