Advance Note - Office Planting Supply and Maintenance

Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) gives notice of its intention to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) from suitably qualified providers who can work with us to supply and maintain office planting solutions across our offices / sites throughout the greater Wellington region.

The objective is to engage a longer term provider who can work with us to ensure our office environment is not only providing health and wellbeing properties and the right aesthetics for our people and visitors, but also helps to promote the external brand of GWRC and showcase our commitment to the environment through our workplace settings.

GWRC’s desired outcome consists of planting solutions:
1. That align to our design aesthetics, particularly where we have new premises
2. That align to the GWRC's commitment to the environment, sustainability and our desire to use native planting solutions wherever possible
3. That the service is provided by a reputable supplier

The lease contract is for an initial five year term, with two rights of renewals of one year each.
GWRC is seeking a vendor partner, or partners that has experience in both the delivery, design, delivery, and ongoing support and maintenance of all planting solutions on a small, or larger scale and has the network to service offices across the greater Wellington region.

The RFP is due to be released end March/early April 2020.
